The second stakeholder consultation workshop took place on September 27, 2015 in Barcelona, Spain at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona Bellaterra campus. Fourteen representatives from Spanish universities’s international relations offices participated along with the project partners. The day included an introduction to the project and the first output (literature review about internationalization of HEIs and indicators), presentations from each of the project partners about their case study results and a discussion about:

• drivers for internationalization at the participant’s institutions
• challenges in better data collection and analysis
• challenges in obtaining “buy-in” from senior management
• need for converge or alignment between data collection requests from government and internally
