Final project meeting in Istanbul

The HEIDA Project team held its final joint project meeting on September 21-23 in Istanbul as well as organizing the project's final conference for Turkish and international participants. During this meeting we were able to look at the final reporting activities ahead, refinement of the online software tool and training module as well as reflect on our professional and institutional development gained through the project. HEIDA Training event at ISBSS in Slovenia

The HEIDA project team in Slovenia led by Dr. Nada Trunk, Prof. Valerij Dermol and Dr. Andrej Koren organized on June 8, 2016 a training event for ISBSS staff and faculty about the project. It was an opportunity to review topics such as internationalization, the use of data for institutional decision making and the beta version of the HEIDA tool. During the event a brief preview of the online e-classroom training module was presented and participants offered feedback on how the content and format can best serve their needs.

HEIDA Project presentation at the IV International EDO Congress in Barcelona

The HEIDA Project will be featured as a presentation at the upcoming IV International EDO Congress "Situated Learning and Connected Learning: Implications for Working" to be held in Barcelona on May 11-13, 2016. The congress is organized by the Centre for Legal Studies and Specialised Training, the Grupo EDO of the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), the Catalonia School of Public Administration.

Training event at Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona

The HEIDA Project team delivered a 1-day training session for key staff at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona on June 8, 2016 at their main campus. The event had the participation from representatives from different administrative and academic units and was facilitated by Prof. Georgeta Ion and Mr. Xavier Barnes as HEIDA project representatives. There was positive feedback about the training content and high expectations for the use of the HEIDA tool in the future by the international office and the central office for data and research.

Results from the HEIDA Online questionnaire are now available!

Over 100 higher education institutions across Europe contributed their views on the topics of internationalization data management at institutional level and the results are now available for view and discussion. The questionnaire was available for 1 month in early 2016 and was promoted through direct emails, social media and other events to capture the practices of universities with an emphasis on Turkey and Slovenia.

"Maximising institutional data for international marketing" workshop from the HEIDA Project at the UK NARIC Conference 2016

The HEIDA Project team will be at the UK NARIC Annual Conference in London on Monday 21 November and Tuesday 22 November 2016 delivering an interactive workshop on the topic of "Maximising institutional data for international marketing"

UK NARIC 2016 is now in its 20th edition as is expected to buid on the previous year edition with 400 delegates from 19 countries. More information about UK NARIC and the conference is here.
