The online questionnaire was also a way of testing a “proxy” data sharing tool by asking respondents to select from a sample of 30 indicators of internationalization compiled from the IMPI project and the three partner university case studies and provide information about how they collect, analyse and use the data needed to compile these indicators.

Over 100 responses were received, mostly from Turkish and Slovenian institutions and from a variety of types of institution in terms of age, size, funding and other criteria.
